A French judge has bought ex-President Nicolas Sarkozy to stand trial within an illegal plan money case.

Mr Sarkozy looks accusations that his celebration falsified reports in order to hide 18m euros (£15m; $20m) of plan paying in 2012.Mr Sarkozy has over repeatedly rejected he was conscious of the overspending.He lost the 2012 competition to Francois Hollande, and unsuccessful in his bid to run again in this springs approaching presidential election.The case is called the Bygmalion scandal.It centres on states that Mr Sarkozy’s celebration, then called the UMP, connived with a friendly PR business to cover up the real cost of his 2012 presidential election campaign.France units limits on campaign spending, and it’s alleged the company Bygmalion invoiced Mr Sarkozy’s celebration as opposed to the plan, enabling the UMP to surpass the limit.
